I have neuropathy in both of my feet..In addition to that..I have all my toes on one foot removed. Even though I have stayed in Pop Century many times...I can't for the life of me remember the bath tub/shower...I am worried about the floor of the tub being slick...Should I bring a plastic tub mat or is the bottom rough enough so I won't slip? I remember the hand bars...so that won't be a problem.

I have stayed at Pop Century 12 times. I wouldn't exactly call the bottom of their tubs slick, but if I were travelling with someone in your situation, I would advise them to bring a cheap tub mat or some adhesive ducks. Have a fun and safe trip!

I have balance issues and I would definitely have been more comfortable with a mat in the tub. I usually bring one with me but I forgot it on my last trip when I stayed at Pop.

If I remember correctly there's a slight..texture I suppose would be the right word..to the bottom of the tub but not at all enough to keep you from slipping unless you have really good balance (or have really good balance that goes out the window after a long day in the park)

Did you request an accessible room? I remeber at All-Star the accessible rooms had tile on the floor that weeny straight the ought the shower (no tub wall)

I didn't think to request an accessible room since I will only use a scooter and not a wheel chair. :confused3

Anyone can request the room, but it's probably better to leave them for guests with real need. I just remember the tile floors being pretty slippery the one time we had an accessible room
