Question @ Park Hopper PLUS tickets and days

Trip number #38 is in the planning stages and I came across Hotwire's 4 day Park Hopper Plus tickets. We have never been to a water park (hard to believe, but true). We plan to buy a four day one, but will probably only use three.

Got a question. If we go to a park on Monday, then on Tuesday, nothing on Wednesday and go to a park on Thursday, but then on Thursday we decide to go to a water park for a few hours, have I used day four of my ticket to enter the water park???

My DH says we can technically go to a theme park and a water park every day, except the one we want to skip, and it will still only count as three days.

I want to have a day left on them for later so I want to be sure that if we go to a water park that it won't count as one of our days. Does that make sense?

my understanding of the hopper system is you have 4 days to visit the parks and the plus allows you to go to one of the water parks. So you will still have one day left on your ticket for Disney.

If you use a plus and don't go to a park you would still have that day. Lots of folks do that so they can still have another day in the park or save it for their next trip.

Once you go to a Disney water park you will be spoiled. No other water parks are the same as Disney's.

Your DH is incorrect about the number of waterpark visits you can make. The PHPs allow you to visit the 4 theme parks, hopping between them if you wish, for the stated number of days. The "plus' feature can be used on a non-park day without taking away a "park" day.

If you were to purchase a 4-day PHP and follow the schedule that you described, you will have used 3 of the 4 "park" days and your one "plus" feature. The passes would have one park day remaining on them.
