When someone who is not the "official" DVC member is staying on points... what "perks" are they still permitted.

They will receive Magical Express, package return to your resort from the parks, bus service and other transportation to the parks and other resorts, in other words any perk that is given to those staying at WDW resorts in general.

DVC Member perks are for members only and require ID with the Blue DVC Member card to identify.

If they were staying with you, they would be entitled to some of your member perks like pool hopping. But if you aren't there, they don't get those.

Thanks everyone! I want to make sure I give them the correct information!!

Most places offering a discount (they will get a book listing the discounts when they check in) will just ask to see their room key with DVC Member on it. I can't remember the last time anyone asked to see my actual member card (though I'm sure it does happen.)

For the 3 visits to the Rainforest Cafe where I've used my DVC discount, each time they asked to see my membership card, not the room key.

if they are staying at BLT and have *DVC member* on their room key (which they should as your guest), they would be allowed to visit the lounge on the top floor for fireworks viewing...
