Question on views at BWV

Can anyone suggest a room location at BWV for the best view of the waterway that goes to MGM?

We do not want a view of the clown pool or the boardwalk.

I would suggest requesting preferred, facing towards the S/D. We had a terrific villa, overlooking the quiet pool and Community Hall. It had a great view of the waterway....loved watching the Friendship boats coming and going. Long walk from the elevators though. But, you had pretty easy access to the back stairway if at the end of the hallway!

As mentioned, our favorite Preferred View Water/Garden is that of the quiet pool, with the canal behind it and MGM's Tower of Terror beyond the trees on the other side. The other view you would probably enjoy would be the "back side" of the Boardwalk View rooms which overlook the canal with the Swan Hotel on the other side.

You have about a 50-50 chance of getting a room that meets your criteria. If you really have "clown issues" then get a standard view room and you won't have to worry about seeing the clown at all. If you request quiet pool view, it is only a request and you may end up looking down at the clown anyway.

Last year in May had view of the grass area in front of the boat dock. Though it to be the best view we have had at any Disney resort.
