Question on Value/Holiday rates

We are thinking about moving our dates to start the trip with the value season December 19th-26th. My question is, if we check in on the 19th (still value rate) and we want to switch hotels during our stay, do we still get the value rate for the entire stay? I would love to spend a few nights at AKL and then move to Poly, but would really love to get all 7 nights at value rate

Unfortunately I believe that if you switch hotels you will fall into the rate that applies the day you check into the second hotel . . . so it may not be practical to switch at that time of the year.

That is correct. If you stay at one hotel and you check in during value season you will get value season rate the whole stay. BUT if you switch hotels and the second hotel falls into holiday season, you will pay holiday season for your stay at the second hotel.
