question on using pts. at a disney resort not DVC and paying cash too

I know, I know...not the best use of pts., but my question is this...Can a reservation be linked to the Grand Floridian using cash and DVC pts? We want to go next yr. and pay cash for the weekends and pts. for during the week. I think I need to make ressies through DVC for the pts. nights and through CRO for the cash. How do I get these linked so we don't have to keep checking in and out? Is there a way to do this?

When you make the reservation with CRO (Explain what you want to do ) they should be able to link the reservations using your DVC confirmation number. I did this for the Beach Club last October.
