Question on "TSA form"

I was on the phone with Disney reservations in order to check that my final payment was credited for my vacation starting this Saturday.

She asked if I had filled in the "TSA form", I did not know of such a form and asked where I could get it. She said she could fill it in with me over the phone. I asked if I could do this on the airlines website and she said no. I didn't have the time then to complete it for the whole family so I said I would call back.

I fly 6-7 times a year on various airlines and I know that when you book the flight there are some additional TSA type questions.

Does anyone know of this specific form?

Thanks for any help

I'm guessing, because you bought your air tickets through Disney and they are your travel agent, they are required to collect the standard TSA information now required. If you booked direct with the airline you would have filled this information online when you paid for your tickets.

The information you'll need to provide is:
  • Sex
  • Date of Birth
  • Full Name (as on ID)

On any US flights you now have to supply Secure Flight Passenger Data which is a TSA mandatory program for all U.S. airlines ... it includes your full name, date of birth, gender your TSA issued redress number if you have one (if you don't know what this is then you don't have one).

Thanks for the info guys.

I booked directly with the airline and I did answer the TSA questions at the time. So I guess I'm OK then...

Thanks again

When we went through security with the kids, TSA asked the kids their date of birth when I handed them our boarding passes. My children don't have picture identification. I can't remember if my TA asked their DOB when we booked our airline tickets or not. Kids were asked their DOB by TSA when leaving BDL and leaving MCO. Adults were not asked DOB by TSA since we had our driver's license out.

I would be interest to know if anyone else was asked.

I just asked my mother since she was the adult who flew with my daughter, they got back on Tue..according to her at both Milwaukee and Orlando my daughter was NOT asked for her DOB, my mother WAS asked for her DOB when going through security in Orlando, strange

This is what the person on the phone was referring to, and it needs to be provided to the airline--through the airline--it's not anything to do with the TSA folks who are at the security checkpoint and whom are looking at your ID.

Airlines are required to have this info on file. If you didn't already give this info to the airline when you bought your ticket, you still need to do so when you check in. The TSA people at the airport security checkpoint have nothing to do with this requirement, if they ask you for your DOB, that is a separate issue.
