Do you get 20% off of all food and beverage items at all Disney Resorts, and Parks? Alchoholic beverages included with 20% discount too??

What are limitations if any.

Thanks!!

I am battling DDE, vs. DDP, vs. OOP.

My calculations have DDE and DDP very close in price therefore it would seem the DDE would be better since it does not have any limitations like DDP.

Thanks for the help!

We always chose DDE. Since DDP no longer includes Tips and Appetizers - its really not much of a savings (since you order things that you probably would not get at every meal - like dessert).

DDE is 20% off the entire bill - including alcohol. It definitely pays for itself and the longer you stay or visit during the year, the more your savings adds up!

DDE gives your free resort valet parking and free theme park parking.

DDE - there are some restaurants that do not participate. See the list below from allears.net for the current restaurants that participate for 20% off.

We love DDE and highly recommend! :thumbsup2

DDE has eight blackout dates (usually major holidays).

If you check that list, you will find that only 8 WDW counter service locations (and only 3 of those are in a theme park - Animal Kingdom) accept DDE. DDE is most worth it for those who eat at WDW table service restaurants.

Doesn't look lie too many CS are on the plan. How do yo qualify do you have to have an AP or be a Florida resident? How much per year?

EXACTLY what I wanted to know. I thought it was either AP or FL resident. I am neither of those :(
Not sure on cost.

if i could jump on here with a couple of questions.

1. when does your DDE start/expire?

2. if i use with DDP; i am paying 2 gratuities? one for DDP and one for the DDE transactions........right?

DDE membership lasts a year from when you sign up for it.

When using DDP plus DDE for any off-plan items, you will receive two separate bills, one for the DDP items and one for the off-plan items for which you are applying the DDE discount. The off-plan bill will have an 18% tip automatically added to the bill.

The DDP bill will also have an automatic 18% tip added if you have a party of 6 or more. If you have a party of less than 6, you will determine the tip you add to that bill.

The only CS places are at the resorts that do not have TS restaurants. We have been using the DDE since they made it avaialble to AP holders. We usually get two trips in within the year and find the card has saved us a lot of $$. If you typically eat a lot of CS meals, this probably won't be a good choice for you.
