Myself, DW, DS13, DD8 all have different tastes when it come to food... to the point that we may need to eat at different QS restaurants. My question: Is it possible to grab a meal form one QS and bring it to eat at another QS with the rest of the fam?

We've done that several times in different restaurants/parks. Never had a problem. Love doing that at epcot to try as many foods as possible!

The only difficulty you'll have is they aren't "packaged" in any way. The food comes out on a plate or bowl and all of that on a tray, so you'll have to carry the tray from one place to the other through possibly crowded walkways. That is easier to do at EP than any of the other parks because restaurants around WS are closer together. At all the other parks, the restaurants are pretty far apart.

Remember you can ask to have the sides removed from a combo meal and the price is reduced. This might make transport easier or even just carrying a hamburger instead of also fries.

For different dining you're probably better splitting up for the meal 2&2 or 1&3. Some places are really separated.

Other places are closer so somedays eat together with transported food and other days split or you'll waste time and have cold food.

Look for some places which are close together, and some places are more unique, flame tree, Columbia harbour house, tangerine cafe.

Don't forget Cosmic Ray's at the Magic Kingdom has three different counters with slightly different foods. Also Sunshine Seasons in the Land in Epcot is food court style with many different options.

This question was asked on another forum, and someone said that you can ask for your meal 'to go'. I don't know whether that's a definite or not, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Also from what I remember, the yak and yeti CS in AK is served in typical Chinese takeout boxes, making it easier to carry if someone wanted a different CS. We've done it taking it to flame tree before.

Yes, but I don't think they provide lids and straws for the cups because of the animals and birds. So, you'd either need to swap the drinks to sealed cups (or the resort mugs, if you have them) or, if you're not on the QSDP/DDP anyway, just buy the drink when you meet up at the other restaurant. Or buy a bottled drink.

This wouldn't work if OP was on the dining plan. Technically OP could ask for the entree without the sides, but it would be a giant waste of a QS credit.

It's true that most QS locations don't have to-go containers. You may get lucky and find one that does or has a bag or something.

Definitely. Two examples.

My family - son wanted nachos at Mexico so he got those and carried it to China where I got my pot stickers and egg rolls. We then continued on to America where my husband got his cheeseburger and we all sat and enjoyed.

Second example (not on the same trip). Husband and I seated in America (outside) and saw a group setting up next to us with several tables. Turns out, it was a large party and each person was "assigned" to go to a different country and bring back one item for all to enjoy. They mixed and matched and had a great time.
