We are staying at Windsor HIll last week of August, would spending more to get pool heat be necessary?

Hi! Our family owns a home in Windsor Hills and we only heat the pool from October to May. It's not necessary in August, should be plenty warm from the summer sunshine!
Have a super trip!

Hi Tami

Is there a spa connected to the pool, if so then you'll need some kind of heating to enable this to get nice and hot for those relaxing evenings.

A non heated pool in August should achieve a temp of mid 80's

No, but you might want to dump some ice cubes in it so it will actually be refreshing! :rotfl2: I think it will feel like a bathtub iin August!

You will not need pool heat by most standards but I have read many a post that individuals still ask for it.

I think it is a personal choice.

You may have to pay for spa heat if you choose to have that heated.

How about for April? I don't feel like paying extra but don't want to feel like I am at home where it is frigid!!!!

We have been debating about pool heat. We will be there from 26 September for 12nights. I hate the cold and will not use it if it is cool. We are also more likely to use the pool at night. Any thoughts?
In saying that, I haven't booked anything yet. I'm sorting through the quotes. If the pool is worth it, then we will choose something with a pool. I love the idea of relaxing after a day at the parks and last time we used it a lot. But if its too cold for me to use, then we might just go a condo. Oh the dilemma.
