Question on Pin Values

I may be putting some pins up for sale here in the near future. I'm wondering what you all consider are fair values for buyable pins once they retire and what you'd feel to be a realistic increase rate?

Most pins are released for a single weekend for 500 credits and then retired. A month later, how many credits would it be fair to ask? Double? Triple? Then how about 2 months? Six months? A year?

And then, what do you consider fair for Host pins which had no original cost?

I've always considered it fair to increase pins by their original selling price each month. So 1000 credits after 1 month, 3000 after 6 months, 6000 credits after a year. Host pins are double their contemporaries (2000, 6000, 12000) - with some being more for particularlly difficult to get Hosties. Does that seem fair? Too much? Too little?

Again, I understand there are many variables, but I'd like to hear what standards you all use. Your thoughts are appreciated.

I have to disagree on your prices. But I have alot of Club 33 among other host pins I will sell you slightly below your prices if you want.

It depends on how the host game pin was achieved. Club33 was, I believe, the first pin that was way abused and significantly devalued as a result of the teleporter games in February. So host games and volumes existing will impact the value of that pin.

For example, Grand Floridian and Grand Californian (both host pins and later released in Host trade rooms on occasion) have a nice value still because it was not used in a teleport game consistently.

Just my opionion.

Agreed. There is a giant difference in value of host pins from pre-port games to port games. Also, the further back you go (host or not) the more valued.

Then there is the exception to every rule. The Enchanted Tiki Room Pin was for sale forever. I believe it was 20 credits. (Someone correct me if that's wrong.) Then it disappeared from the stores. Now, it is a tricky pin to get.
