hi! we rebooked while on ship and we recieved by mail our guest copy with amount due, itinerary , stateroom info, etc.. i am ready to call and make a payment and i just noticed under the area where it says amount due, the are two little astericks next to BALANCE DUE. then under that it says WAITLIST ITEMS MAY AFFECT BALANCE DUE. huh????????? what does that mean? we arent on any waitlist,or are we?we have a stateroom assigned to us. also, where do we find our castaway club number? thanks! i wont call to make a payment till i hear from you:) incase i screwed something up.

I think the invoice always says this. If you aren't on any waitlists, your reservation won't change, and as such the price won't change. If you were waitlisted for a higher room category, the price would change if you cleared the wait list.

We're usually waitlisted for something (usually early dining, because we booked close to the departure date), but I think that all our invoices have said that.

I don't think you can find your Castaway Club number on the invoice. If you call DCL reservations, they should be able to give it to you.

From my experience, the Castaway Club number won't show up for a few months, but it is not really needed, and Disney knows you are a return cruiser.

I think the "waitlist may change things..." note is just standard. Suppose you had booked for a popular cruise, wanted category 6, but were waitlisted and booked into some other category. If / when you clear the waitlist, then the stateroom rate would be different from that you were actualy confirmed in at start. If you are not waitlisted, then don't worry about it.

In terms of payment, if you are not actually close to the full payment due date, and won't spend the money someplace else, why send it to Disney now? Put the money aside someplace, even if it's just in your checking account in reserve, where it will help you, not Disney. You could end up raising the average balance in your checking account, or some other account, to get free checking, a lower credit interest rate, or something else to help you. On the other hand, if you might end up spending the money if it's not in Disney's hands, then send it.

THANKS FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSES!!!
FOR A MINUTE THERE, I THOUGHT THAT I SCREWED UP DURING REBOOKING WITH DONNA. WE GOT EVERYTHING WE ASKED FOR--CAT. 6 PORT-SIDE, FORWARD TO MID-SHIP. ALSO, WE WERE ABLE TO GET LATER SEATING FOR DINNER THIS TIME AS WELL, SO NOT WAITING ON ANYTHING.....EXCEPT MAYBE AN UPGRADE TO CAT 3-4?;) DOUBT THATS GONNA HAPPEN, BUT THATS OK........WE BOOKED WHAT WE WOULD BE HAPPY WITH!
WE MAKE PAYMENTS DUE TO THE FACT WE ARE ALREADY MAKING PAYMENTS FOR AN 8 DAY WDW STAY (ON-SITE)FOR DD DANCE SCHOOL TO DANCE THRU OUT THE "WORLD" AND UNIVERSAL DURING JULY PEAK SEASON AND THAT IS COSTING US MORE, YES MORE, THAN THE 7 DAY CRUISE. SO, WE ARE KINDA BUDGETING AND MAKING THESE PAYMENTS TO MAKE THINGS A TOUCH EASIER. THANKS SO MUCH! NOW, I WILL CALL AND MAKE A PAYMENT(OUCH:earseek: )DISNEY IS GONNA PUT US IN THE POORHOUSE....BUT A HAPPY:) POORHOUSE!
