question on OKW resale

we were presented with a situation where friends our our are being forced to sell (due to money problems) their 350 points at OKW. dh and i have thought about buying into the vacation club on 2 occasions, but decided against it for various reasons. we are definitely interested in purcasing these 350 points, but not sure what a reasonable price would be. also, 350 points is alot...we were considering 220 points.

they have 1050 points available now with a use of feb.

Whatever you and your friends decide, Disney has to approve, and if they think the agreed upon price is too low, they will buy it from your friends for the price you set and you will be out of the loop. There is a thread on the DVC Community board giving recent resale information for the different resorts, and what has "made it" and what has been taken by Disneys "Right of First Refusal" (ROFR).

Also, if the 350 points are one contract, and does not include add on purchases that they made, they will not be able to just sell you 220.
