question on myw dining plan?

hello, were treating a wdw vacation to my parents & we have included the myw dining plan, does anyone know if in room dining at their resort counts for a counter service or table service credit?

Sorry - it's not included. Only meals at participating restaurants.

We'll be (or should I say DH will be) running to the food court for breakfast to bring back to our room.

The others are correct, no room service included in the MYW Dining Plan. It is "Participating Restaurants" for a) Counter Service and b) Table Service meals.
Your Dad could always order breakfast from Room Service and pay OOP if this is important to him. The plan offers so much food, however, I don't know how they would be able to eat all that is included if they have ordered a big breakfast in their room.
I hope this is not too much of a problem for them. Maybe you need to reconsider whether the Dining Plan meets there needs?

He probably wouldn't want to waste his precious CS or TS credits on breakfast anyway. The dining plan doesn't cover all of his meals, only (at most) 2/3 of them. So he is going to have to pay out of pocket for (on average) one meal a day. So he can go ahead and get his room service breakfast and still take full advantage of the dining plan you bought for him for (most) of the rest of his meals.
