Question on modifying a free dining bounce back reservation

Before I waste an hour on hold with Disney, I figured I'd ask here and see what people know.

I booked a bounce back free dining offer for mid December. My younger sister is a teacher and just found out that her Christmas break is much later than she'd guessed.

We'd like to add some days onto our trip. Does anyone know what the odds of doing that are at this point now that free dining was released to the public? Or does that have nothing to do with it?

I know before free dining was released to the public I was able to call and modify my reservation.

Call and see I there is availability gif yoyr new dates. If there is, you can modify. If not you won't be able to.

Unfortunately, the only way to know is to call. If you didn't already, try calling the bounce back line. They were very helpful when I wanted to change our FD BB. I had a better experience than what I've seen others post about after calling the main reservations line.

I was able to change my FD BB to completely different dates and resort. It was a pain because I called the main # and they finally had to transfer me to someone else. However I think that he felt bad that I was on the phone for so long so the guy said the computer was telling him my dates at CR garden wing weren't available but he was able to override the system to put it in.
