Question on Linking reservations

I have a reservation for 5 nites at WL in a 2 bedroom in Jan. I had to take a 1 nite in a 2 bed lock off, the 5 nites are in a dedicated. I was on the wait list for the 1 nite (last nite of trip) for the dedicated. It came through the other day, but my reservations are still showing two separate reservations, they are correct and both say 2 bedroom dedicated, but two separate numbers. Is this what is usually done and help on this would be appreciated.

Yes, that is correct. MS may have already linked them when the waitlist came thru but you should call to confirm. It will still remain two separate ressie numbers though.
