My husband and I are both retired military, and my son's BIL is a Reservist. So there's a total of 18 Military Salute tickets between the 3 of us.

My question is if I buy tickets at our base Tickets and Tours, for my son, his wife and their kids, do I have to be the military member who is with them when the tickets are activated, or could my son's BIL be the required military person present at activation?

Doesn't make any difference who buys the tickets. Each servicemember can only activate six per year though.

its true. we used the Military passes for our other trip a few years back.
We could only buy 6.

We can both buy six, I know that for a fact (we are both retired military). But since my original post, I have also found out that the ones bought at SOG are activated at the time of purchase. And the entire party does not need to be there.
