Question on Kids' Clubs...

I just made a PS for Simba's Cubhouse for my kids. A couple of NEW things since the last time: 1) $20 per kid cancellation fee if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. 2) 2 hour minimum fee per child!

Gee... so much for having Simba's Cubhouse equal dinner at Boma. It would be cheaper to bring them, but not as quiet . Now our night out at Jiko will start at $60 before we even step foot into JIKO!

Now, the question is do we bring the girls (4 & 6) to Boma with us and save $20 or let them play in Simba's and just dine with our son (8). He tends to be more adventurous and would eat more than just a single chicken finger!

What would you do?

We are going to run into the same kinda thing when we go in July. We have 3 boys who will be 5 and 4(twins). So I thought it would be nice to have 1 meal without the kids, but it is going to be kinda pricey for all 3 in the childcare. I guess I am just going to look at it as a splurge and to actually have 1 nice meal alone with my hubby.

Dh just returned my call and said, "Book all of us at Boma". So, I did. We just can't see spending $20/hour PER kid to watch tv or color. I'd rather have them with us and when we finish, take off to MGM or something. 2 Hour minimum? Geez...

So, we splurged for Jiko, but not for Boma. We shall have a noisy, busy table at Boma!

They should offer a discount for more than 1 kid, something like 1 for $10/hour, 2 for $18/hour and 3 for $5/hour. j/k Maybe 3 for $22/hour?

No wonder so many people use Fairy Godmothers!
