Question on kids and discounts

My DD will be going to WDW with her high school marching band next week. Does anyone know if kids can use their parents membership cards for discounts. I'm thinking she probably can't since she isn't the actual owner (parents are), but I didn't think it could hurt to ask. Thanks.
