Question on Height Requirements

Planning a trip to DL and DCA in November. I have had problems in the past with inconsistent measuring of child's height. Some rides let her on, others did not with the same height requirement.

Now that I will be in the same situation with youngest child, I'm wondering if there is a way to have the child measured once and get a wristband? I thought I heard about this before, but can't remember where to go to get this. Any suggestions?

Not that I'm aware of...we ran into this with our 5 year old this past summer. She could ride the rockin roller coaster, but not any of the water slides at the water parks (same height requirement). She was 48 inches exactly without her shoes on.
