Hi, All! Sorry if this question has been asked, but I've treid to search with no success.

I have a friend who booked her Disney vacation package in December. She is staying at the Wilderness Lodge (not the DVC Villas, the main hotel).

When I saw the ad in the paper about the free park hopper upgrade (when she initially booked she didn't do the park hopper option), I told her to call and cancel her reservation and rebook with the free upgrade (she's going May 6th). She called yesterday and they said it was only available for "VALUE" resorts and not the "Vacation Club" resorts. Now, I AM a DVC member, and know that only the villas are DVC. This didn't sound right to me...anyone have a similar experience or can anyone verify that I am correct? She fits all the criteria (staying 6 nights in May). HELP! THANKS!

WL is not a value resort.

Thanks...no, I get that part (that WL is not a "value" resort), but none of the ads with the offer say that it is for value resorts only, and WL hotel (not villas) is not DVC, so I'm still confused!

I am staying at POFQ at the end of April, and originally booked without the park hopper upgrade you are taking about here. I called last week when I saw the code, asked if I could upgrade, and in about 5 minutes on the phone with a very nice CM I had my FREE upgrade. I would definitely make the call!!

DH and I are staying at POR (a moderate) and we got the free upgrade. I would advise your friend to call back....

Only a limited number of package reservations at each resort for any given set of dates are available with free park hopping.

If your friend's resort was sold out of that kind of package, she can still check back periodically to see if other guests' cancellations resulted in more availabilities.

Hi,
Have her call back. The free upgrade falls within the date she is going. Make sure she calls before March 30th (when the special expires) Last year I found a code after I paid in full and they put the $300.00 savings right back in my account-I love codes :)

I didn't know you could add it after you booked, I saw it somewhere but had already paid. Do you have the code? I would like to try to see if I could get a credit.

Thank you!
