Question on DVC Rental

Just wondering.....if you wanted to add the dining plan to the reservation, would you also have to pay for the renter to be on the dining plan?

Now I see it is at Vero Beach and not at WDW. But, what if it was a WDW reservation?

Somehow people are getting cheap vero beach rentals. Several 1 br have sold in the last few months for 1000-1500. If the person didn't have flawless feedback I would be freaking out.

Considering the cheapest DVC fees for 2014 are $4.78 a point and that is for BLT, and that does not include the initial outlay for the point purchase, why would anyone rent them for $5 per point? Something still isn't adding up.

I am a DVC owner and a RCI member through a different timeshare, I booked a week at OKW this past Feb using my expiring RCI pts.. I then rented it on Redweek...Once rented I had to purchase a gift certificate and add the people that rented on the reservation. My name did not come off the ressie, It actually did but was put at the top of the reservation as the owner. I did tell RCI that I would not be there only the people renting from me. I have rented my DVC points numerous times and my name does appear on top of the confirmation but not in the details of the reservation.

Everyone listed on the reservation will be included on the Dining Plan. If the "owner" insisted on having his name on the reservation he would also be included in the DP for all days of the reservation.
