Question on DVC occupancy limits for the resorts....

Does anyone have a easy link to a chart with the occupancy limits for the villas? Not sure if there are differences between DVC villas and standard lodges.

We are very close to buying and I am trying to find out how many points I will need for family of 5 to stay 8-9 days once/year during October and "off peak" December dates. Looking at AKV, SSR,

Go to the link at the top of this page "DVC Point Charts". The occupancy is listed for each resort by room type. If you have questions, call one of the bigger resale companies (I recommend TSS which sponsors these pages) and ask the questions.

studio - 4 people (although would NOT recommend 4 adults at BLT - too small

1-bedroom - generally 4 - AKV and BLT are 5. OKW is to be added to the 5.

2-bedroom - generally 8 - AKV and BLT are 9. OKW is to be added to the 9.

Five in a one bedroom might be doable if the three children are young. Once they hit pre-teens, you'll probably want a two bedroom. Just for the space.

We did four in a one bedroom once (three adults and one pre-teen) and we were uncomfortable. Not enough space for the third adult who was in the living room with the kiddo.

By the way, December is mostly "hot" for DVC members. Not off-peak by any means.

yes they are adding the sleeper chair

not sure when it will happen - surposely it is being done now. As reported here
