My family is visiting WDW in early march. One of days, two people want to visit Epcot and the rest, including me, want to visit Animal Kingdom. I am driving, is it possible to drop them off at Epcot without paying for parking and then head over to AK? They do not want to ride the busses so that option is out.

I don't know whether you'll have to pay parking to drop off, but here's the thing - you only pay for parking at one park per day anyway, so if you do pay at Epcot, just show your Epcot parking receipt at AK and you don't have to pay again.

Also, you don't mention where you're staying, but onsite resort guests don't pay for parking at the parks.

All parks have guest dropoff areas. Usually near a Taxi area.

I believe EPCOT's is around the farther bus stop area?

FWIW, parking fees include parking "hopping" save the parking tag/receipt and you won't have to pay at the other park (may or may not be useful when you pick them back up)

They directed us to a guest drop off that taxis, Lyft, Uber use. I can't remember if we had to go through the parking gate or not (parking is free for us anyway) but there was a turn off for guest drop off. I can't imagine they'd make you pay for drop off. I'm thinking the turn off was before the parking gate. There was a sign for it.

You could always drop them off at the TTC and they could take the monorail.
