My friends are going to WDW soon and I wanted to give them my Disney Club card to use for the 10% discount at Downtown Disney. My question is, if they pay cash for things, would they ask for more id to prove its their card? Or would they be able to use it?

I borrowed someones, and tried to pay cash, but they still asked for a photo ID.

Needless to say I did not get the discount.

I was going to say that I've never been asked for ID.......
but I believe you have to sign something if you use cash.
(At least at TDS)

I haven't purchased the Disney Club membership, but back when it was the free Magic Kingdom Club, I would ask for the discount and get it without even showing my card.

Since it has been the Disney Club, I have noticed that they do check photo ID if you use cash, both at our Disney Store and at WDW.

Also My DF has used it on more than 1 occasion, Yes I was standing there but he used it and never word has been said.

With the cost of the Disney Club being so low, and the benefits extending to them at Disney Stores locally, why don't they just get a card for themselves? Then they don't have to worry about getting denied the discount.
