Has anyone used this service? How much is the CD with all photos? I went to the website but I don't see prices. I'm trying to figure out if it would be worth it to buy the CD. I'm not a great photographer so I'm thinking this would be the easiest way to capture the memories. Thanks.

Prepaid the cost is $69.95 I believe. Last week we used a PP+. Some of the photographers aren't the greatest either. When I looked at our pic's, I was surprised at the lack of technique.

My little point and shoot Nikon 3100 provided us with really nice pic's. Many better than the PP+ ones.

You'd think with those fancy cameras they use, the AUTO feature would do a better job. Next time I'll be a little more selective on the pictures I leave up to them.

If you buy the photo pass+ before you go you pay $69 and it includes all of your ride photos, your dining photos and the cd after you get home. It's a great deal IMO.

I think the photopass + is a great deal, I used it this past week and my kids were thrilled with the ride photos alone. I wouldn't have bought ride photos because they are expensive and I always look ridiculous but my kids loved them so the dozens of ride photos alone was worth the price. We also made a point to have photos taken at all the photo pass photographers around the park and some of them are really great. We were a party of 7 and its hard to get everyone looking in the right direction so I didn't expect perfection from all of them but we had 179 photos taken :) so that's a lot of photos

I have done this twice now...here are my thoughts

- Likely the only way to get a real good family photo, plus a lot of them will make you pose in fun ways for a few more shots. I love our family "scary" Halloween pose in front of the pumpkin Mickey. Way better than asking a stranger to take your pic.

- You can't rely on them 100% (I have had 1 character visit completely go missing before), but they generally take great shots and take lots.

- If you are visiting a character dining location, it practically pays for itself right there and they print the photos for you on the spot.

- Ride photos are great, allows you to get multiples and have some fun with it (think YMCA on splash for example) at no extra cost.

- Also is great for Jedi training if your kids get in, mind you you get pics of 20 other kids too...

- For character locations they are generally pretty good, plus you can still take your own shots.

- Some of my best shots were from the roaming photographers, these are generally the better one's who take great candid shots. For example, one guy noticed my pass while waiting at Matterhorn for my wife and older daughter to ride, so he waited until they slid by and took about 10 great shots for us.

- Download is easiest option, can be done fairly quickly and you can edit online (add Disney characters, sigs, etc to your photos).

- I think I will always pre-purchase ($30 off) and buy one every trip, so needless to say I am a fan. The bonus pics aren't the greatest, but some neat one's in there still.

My experience that it's not really worth it at Disneyland.
They are cheaper than WDW (by a lot) but it's just not as much of a "thing" as it is in Orlando.

You can get a PP and use it, and remember, the photographer will take pictures with your own camera too. Very helpful and nice about it. They know how to work the iPhones too which is great. Heck, they probably have an iPhone themselves.

If you see any exceptional pics on your PP preview, you can buy. Nearly 100% of the time though, the one on your own camera is just as good if not better.

Hi Geemo,
I looked out for a DGM with 4 kids, but unfortunately never saw you guys. I hope you had a great trip.

I have to agree with you on PP+. Some photographers were great and the same as WDW's, but some took some bad photos. One even got our hopes up for this Goofy in a plane Magic Shot, but blew the execution, and only after we got home did we find out the Magic Shot animation couldn't be applied because the photographer didn't understand the pose enough to know what would work and what wouldn't.
