Question on Disney Motorola's

I mail-ordered 2 pairs of those Disney Motorola 2-way radios. They're cute and all, but for anyone who has them, how the heck do you store/carry/wear them? There's no belt clip, and the packaging came with this thin little six inch strap, that for the life of me I can't figure out how it "attaches" to the radio. It has a nylon 5 inch loop, and then this little plastic thingy, and then a very thin (think string!) 1 inch loop on the other side of the plastic thing. I assumed the plastic thing would slide, which it doesn't, but even if it did, and you could adjust either loop to fit around the radio, there doesn't seem to be any designated place to do this...the entire radio is smooth. Now there is a little hole through the very bottom of the radio, and if you slide the strap through there, I suppose you could wear the radio dangling upside down on your wrist, but why the heck would you want to? And furthermore, kid's wrists are so tiny and there's no way to adjust this strap so that it would stay on your wrist snugly, and even then it would just be in your way constantly. Am I missing something here or am I just dense???!!!!! I was gonna put these in my kids Easter baskets tonight, but I just might return them instead unless there's an easier way to carry these things besides a short, flimsy, non-adjustable strap that leavs the radio hanging upside down! Help!!!?????

Why not try some of those carriers from Walmart. We got some for our radios when the clip that came with them broke. I dont think I paid much for them and they are much better than the ones that came with the radios.

thanks for your reply, I have some of those carriers from our regular Motorola's, but this Disney ones are quite a bit longer and thinner, so I don't know if they'll work.......

If you look at the bottom of the radio, you will see an open hole/loop in the plastic. Slide the little loop through tha hole, then slide the big loop through the little loop and the wrist strap is attached.

But I think holsters are a better idea!

I did do that initially, but I just had a hard time believing that a product designed for a child would have them loosely hanging off their wrist upside down, either getting in the way, wacking against everything and breaking, or just falling off. It just seemed so impractical and stupid that I thought I was doing something wrong. ......turns out, it is impractical and stupid! IMHO......sorry, but I think it's a really dumb design, especially since it is significantly larger than any other 2-way radio I've ever seen, you would think they would've tried to compensate for the clunkiness, by somehow making it more transport-friendly....I mean , people aren't using these in their kitchens, they're using them portably in loud crowded places where one could get "lost" and need such a device....I dunno..... I guess I'm an over-demanding consumer
