Question on Dining Plan

We are going to WDW in September and are doing the free dining. My parents will be with us, but since they are annual passholders they cant get the dining plan. I have read that the plan is pooled together with your party since there are 6 adults (4 w/dining) can we use our TS for my parents.

We are going in August with free dining. We've never done the dining plan before, but I think you could use the TS credits for your parents.

What we did, and we have AP's, is we bought a one-day base ticket, which we can save and apply the cost of it towards new AP's or upgraded tickets. That might be an option if they want free dining.

Yes, you can use your TS "coupons" for your parents. Just let your server know how many you are using and there should be no problem. Of course at the end of your vacation, you would just pay cash/charge your meals once you run out.

It will run you short on meals and you will end up paying OOP likely more than it would cost for them to buy the 1 day base tickets. They can save it for renewing the AP later. I would definitely suggest it to them!
