Question on DCV discount at Fulton's Crab House

Has anyone used the 30% discount at Fulton's? If so did you need your Blue Member's Card or did the room Key with DVC Member work?

Our adult son will be traveling with us and he and his friends want to go there one day. Just need to know if we have to go with them or if the room key would work.

I used it and showed my room key. they didn't ask for the blue member card. I had actually forgotten it in the room that day, and I still got the discount. But as with anything, it is at the server's discretion.

We used it last Saturday. One thing to note is that you can order anything off the dinner menu during lunch AND get the discount with two exceptions which were simply not available at lunch, at least when we went. I think the two items were Lobster Narragansett and Fillet of Beef Oscar. You can get the discount whether staying at a DVC resort or not. While I had my blue card ready, my Disney CC that had DVC on it was sufficient.

My DH and FIL ate there on May 15 and the server told them there was no discount. DH is not the type to argue it, so he let it go. If I'd been there....we would have gotten the discount.

We simply showed them our room key, with DVC member on it.

We thought Fultons and 30% off was a great deal. Great seafood at a very good price, with a great view of the lake.

We did it 9 days ago. There were the 2 items I mentioned that they simply did not have at lunch.
