Question on configuration of MDE app on iPad

Hi all,

Just off the phone with Disney technology and the rep couldn't answer this question. Sometime over the past year the MDE app on my iPad changed and will no longer allow me to view the app when viewing my iPad horizontally which is the way I usually work during the day for my job etc. This did not used to be the case. I know it's not a huge deal but the rep tried to tell me that perhaps my iPad was locked to a certain screen view and it most certainly is not. So I am assuming it's something imbedded in one of the updates, and there's nothing I can do about it but was curious if anyone happens to know. I just find it to be a hassle when I'm multitasking and have to keep changing the direction of my screen when I open the MDE app, as this is the only app or program I use that does this (other than Instagram). Thanks in advance.

Looks like MDE is a "portrait-only" configuration.

It won't go "landscape" on my iPhone, either.

I do 90% of everything I do online on my ipad and have the same problem with the MDE app on it. This started with one of the bigger MDE updates last year. Drives me nuts. I will hardly use the app on my ipad because of it, I will just use the website instead.

Thanks everyone. The IT rep was not super friendly unfortunately and was acting like I was crazy that I cared. So am glad to know I'm not the only one!

It's portrait only and it's not the only app out there like that. No setting to change it.
