Question on Closing Time

We just got our closing documents today on our DVC contract sale. We plan to use the proceeds to purchase a larger contract at a different resort to add on to points we currently own there (and love!). My question is, how long until we receive the proceeds? When should we sincerely begin looking to bid on a new contract? So excited!
