So, we just called and got into Boardwalk studio for spring break, and she said they had a garden/pool (preferred) view available. I see that its the same number of points as a boardwalk view. Is there a map somewhere showing what these room locations are like, or can someone tell me what the view may be if not a view of the pool? Thanks!

Thats perfect thanks! We've never stayed at BWV so this was exactly what I was looking for.

We booked a preferred view back in March and ended up with a view of the wuiet pool for the villas and the Swan and Dolphin. It was pretty, especially at night. But the walk to our room was LLOONNGGGGGG! That was really truely the only thing I despised was the long butt walk back to the room. We were basically at the end of the hallway and felt like miles from the elevators. When we left in the mornings we would use the stairs at the end of the hallway, walk past the quit pool and community hall area, to the path by the clown pool, through the archway to the boardwalk up the stairs to the parking area and to our car. Either way, it was a long walk :)

We had a preferred view in 2003 that primarily faced the valet parking lot, though we could see the TOT if we stood out on our balcony and faced to the right. There was a small narrow canal directly underneath our balcony with some ducks in it and we could also see the portion of Crescent Lake (a glimpse) , with the Friendship boat going back and forth if we were standing on our balcony and looking to the right. But from inside the room and directly head on, the view was the valet parking lot. We were about 5 doors down from the last room at the end of the hallway (also a very long walk). Next time I stay at BWV and get preferred view, I will request a "pool view" to avoid getting this valet parking lot view again. Just a head's up....and I have come to discover, that people paying standard view points were a mere 2-3 doors away from me. So somehow, DVC/BWV drew a line between preferred and standard right around my room. Just an FYI. Some people may have loved my view and considered it preferred. I personally didn't feel this way.
