We are headed to WDW on 10/7. On Wednesday DS age 30 broke his ankle. He will have a screw placed on 8/19 6 weeks from when we leave. It sounds like the break is a pretty clean one and the screw is to help the broken bone adhere.
Wondering if anyone has faced a similar situation. He is in a splint right now and is otherwise in good physical shape. We are not park commandos by any means, we plan 3 to 4 hours of park time in the morning, maybe a few evenings with a hour or two, and much pool time.
Will he be able to make it through walking through the parks? I do know he will need to wear something other than the usual flip flops he favors. I would appreciate any insight from anyone who has experienced a similar thing.thank you!
