Question on Atlantis water slides/height requirements

We are thinking of doing the Aquaedventure deal - or maybe booking it through Comfort Suites. Our 6-year old, who is a "water slide junkie", is around 45 inches tall. I read somewhere that a lot of the slides have a height requirement of 48 inches - does anyone have any information on which/how many slides have a height requirement BELOW that? I just am curious to know what options he might have since he's not quite tall enough for ALL of the slides...

Thanks!

When I googled for the atlantis bahamas water slide rules I found a site that describes all of the slides and at the bottom it states

For your safety and convenience, please observe the mandatory posted water slide rules and those given by the slide attendants. All riders use the slides at their own risk. Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the water slides.

It doesn't sound like your DS will be able to do any of the slides. :(

Thanks, I was wondering about this. It just seems odd that none of the slides will allow riders under 48 inches (except for the tiny ones in the baby section). Maybe we by-pass the excursion, and wait until he's tall enough. It sure is a lot of money to fork over if it turns out we can't use the water park to its fullest.....

We just got back from our Atlantis day trip (through Comfort Suites.) Anyhow...they were very strict with the 48 inch height requirement...they even had children take their water shoes off to measure. From what I could tell...most of awesome water slides had this 48 inch requirement...I would definitely wait.

BTW...Atlantis was great! :thumbsup2 My boys are still raving over the slides and the lazy (no-so-lazy) river!

It's good to hear they're being strict about it. When we were there in Feb. they couldn't have cared less. They didn't measure our boys once. We just figured the rules were very relaxed in the Bahamas.
