My son, age 8, goes to Disney with me and then he goes with his father. If i were to buy him an annual pass, would i be able to make the resort reservations and get the annual pass discounts even though it is a child pass? THis saves both us on buying his ticket, and if we can get the discounted room rates it would be a bonus.

We had this same discussion last week, but it concerned "free parking" using a childs AP.

No one ever found any distinction made of the privileges between a child's AP and an adult's (besides the obvious age thing).

So I don't see why you couldn't get a resort rate using it.

Ohly one person in the room is required to have an ap to get the discounts. At DL they have different discounts based on the AP. So one person gets the highest to get the discount and the rest just get the regular ones. At WDW this is not the case so we both get them but you only need one to get the discounts.
