Question on 2BDR at BWV

I was reading on another thread (and never really thought about this), but all 2 bedrooms at BWV are lockoffs; as such when the studios are rented out, that negates the choice of a 2 bdr. Is this the case?

Does this mean there is a chance there are no 2 bdr available at all?

We love BWV, but honestly, I am getting tired of sleeping on a sofa which got us thinking of a two bedroom.

Yes.

Yes. Also, any 2BR at BWV will have a king in the master, a queen and a sofa bed and a murphy in the studio bedroom, and a pull-out sofa in thee living room.

There is a possibility at any resort tof all the 2BRs being gone. BWV just has a special problem in that every studio booked eats a 2BR, there are no dedicated 2BR units.

Not quite true. BWV has dedicated studios and dedicated 1 bedrooms. Those are booked before the lock-off studios /1 bedrooms.

That said, BWV studio demand is very high, and I agree it noticeably decreases 2 bedroom availability.

We have done a 2BR several times. We always book at 11 months and never have had a problem getting one. If you book later and closer to 7 months, I can see where they could easily be gone.
Still Love BWV will the area and walking distance to 2 parks.

This very issue is what led us to purchase BCV instead of cheaper BWV.

Hope for the best - do you point planning assuming you are going to be getting a preferred view room......We have never had any issue booking two bedrooms at BWV, although its been years since we've gone during "fall frenzy" - and we always book pretty darn close to eleven months. We have only bothered to book standard view once though, we have enough points to be able to book BW View and are happy with that.

Thanks crisi. We never count on standard view for anything. I do just scratch my head in that something we paid such a premium for is so elusive, at times. Regardless of the resort, we all paid a lot of money to use DVC. It just seems to be getting harder and harder to get a ressie.

Jambo House at AKV/AKL. They are all converted hotel rooms.
