We have a trip booked for July with DVC points and I've already purchased the dining plan. I need to re-book that trip for another time (possibly June). Will I be able to transfer the dining plan over to that new reservation???

Also, does anyone by chance know if I will also be able to do the same with my paid for reservation to Hoop Dee Doo??

Thanks for any info!

You'll need to ask MS about the dining plan. As for HDD, you'll have to see if your dates are available.

sigh, i just had to do this a couple of months ago. they wouldn't let me transfer the DDP over to another ressie that i had. I had to get a refund and repurchase the DDP. I did ask if i could, i was disappointed when i was told no. I really don't know about the Hoop De Doo review though. guess MS will have to answer that one.

Thanks for the reply's! I was finally able to call this morning and found out that yes, I did have to just cancel both the dining plan and the hoop dee doo. I should show a refund in 2-3 business days. In the meantime I can re-purchase both of those now that I'm rebooked and HOPEFULLY do not have to change anything again.

Since we moved our trip up by over a month and being as though it's in the near future (beginning of June), I wasn't able to get Beach Club, Boardwalk, or Bay Lake, which I knew would be a long shot. We are re-booked at OKW which is fine...we usually stay there and we like it. We were just thinking of branching out this time. :rotfl: I am now waitlisted for Beach Club. :thumbsup2

I wonder if they'd give you a refund on a gift card that they could immediately re-charge. I'm thinking the rule is probably that it has to be refunded back to the original card, though.

I had this question about switching at seven months. So, if I book at home resort at 11 months and then tried to switch at 7 months the dining plan will not carry over to the new ressie if i go it? What about if you are waitlisted and your waitlist comes thru will your DDP move witht he waitlist?

for either of those situations your reservation number doesn't change, so you'd be OK

Yeah, my reservation number didn't change even switching the trip from July to June. He did say that he would refund my credit card for the dining plan and recharge but I haven't even seen any of that show up on my online credit card statement. My new reservations DO show that I have the dining plan, though so I guess it's all good. I made all new ADR's and once again all is right with my Disney World. :thumbsup2
