Question: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

I will be going to Orlando next year August 30, 2015 - September 4, 2015. I have never been to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom and would like to go. This year the event started on September 1st. However, I've noticed that in years prior the event began later in September. Anyone know the 2015 dates or know any information as to whether or not the event would start at the beginning of September again? Thank you.

Disney has been extending the dates for its 'hard ticket' events this past year. Since many of the Halloween parties sold out there is a good chance they'll stay with the really early September date start. But.....nothing official will be out for a couple of months, so until then it's really all just hope and speculation.

Tickets typically go on sale May 1, so as Mesa said we will know in April. You can speculate on the dates as soon as the first monthly calendar comes out (typically 6 months prior). Most nonconsecutive 7pm closures mean a party. If there are 2 back-to-back early closings it means something else, such as Night of Joy.

Didn't Kenny the Pirate post the dates on his facebook a while back? I remember a thread on here talking about it, only because we are going labor day week and want to attend the party as well. I know that wouldn't be official, but I feel like his knowledge would be pretty reliable...

Ok just check my history, and he had just discussed "historically" when they would be begin...which would be Tuesday, September 8th. So I guess that info didn't really help after all.

Up until last year, the MNSSHPs started the second week of September. They moved up the first party to Labor Day, but it wasn't terribly well attended. My guess, and that's all it is -- a guess, is that MNSSHP will go back to its regularly scheduled start after Night of Joy for 2015.
