I've put together a post that uses tables - I built it using FrontPage 2000....

My issue is that I get a page of whitespace on the post before my content starts.

There's no code ahead of the table declaration. Here is the declaration (without the <>)

table border="0" width="100%" height="951"

Any idea what might cause that and what I can do to fix it?

TIA! :)

Can you give me a link to the post?

I've posted tables in posts a number of times, and one thing I've learned is that you cannot have any hidden line feed/carriage returns ANYWHERE in your code for the table to post correctly.

Take your front page code, copy it, and paste into Notepad. Turn off word wrap. Then go through the code and delete every line feed/carriage return you find. Then try it again.

I think the DIS finds every line feed in your code, adds them up, and places them all in your post before then posting the table.

I use to get the same thing, and removing the line feeds solves the problem.

That was it, Caskbill - THANK YOU!!!! :)

And thank you too, Lisa! :)

sorry I am late on this OldKicker,

but yeah as you found the boards moves the carriage returns above the HTML code I had this issue at first when I set up my signature as it is now. Glad you got it fixed.

PS when ya coming for a Rhinos match? catch them on FoxSportsworld last week?
