Question: If I buy at SSR in April and give up my first years points...

what would be the soonest that I would be able to vacation at SSR. I like the idea of saving $10 a point but not sure if it is worth it ?

One of the nice thing about DVC is that even if you give up this year's points, you can always borrow next year's points. So depending on your use year, you may be able to go back to WDW almost immediately.
