Question I can't find an answer for

I have a MYW package booked which includes 6 day MYW passes. I will be in Orlando 1 day before the package starts (staying offsite) and was wondering if I could pick up the theme park tickets 1 day early. I just want to get an early start on the first morning of my package without having to check in first. Thanks to anyone and everyone who has an answer for me.

nope, not do-able... your tickets are part of your package and therefore you cannot get them 'til you check-in to begin your package... you can, however, purchase one day tickets either thru a vendor, at your off-site hotel, or at the gate for that day, but the cost of those may be more than if you changed your ressie to include that first day at an onsite hotel...

That's correct, but you can use the tickets after you check out (up to 14 days from first use if no exp.).

If you were staying at the same resort on a split but continuing reservation, the answer is yes. You can get them up to three days ahead of your check-in. But one thing to consider is that it is a procedure that the front desk seldom has call to do and many (managers too) may not know that it can even be done.

If you are not staying under those circumstances (even if you are staying at two Disney resorts), the answer is that it is possible to do through Guest Relations (not through the resorts) but most times you will be told that it can't be done. It involves a lot of work. Many don't have the knowledge to do it and the ones that do aren't willing to put the time in.

If I understand the orginal posters question properly, it is can she get access to their package tickets early in the morning of her check-in day without actually checking in.

If that is the question, then the real answer is no. But if you are looking to get an early start, you can check-in ahead of park opening and drop you luggage off and get you tickets then head the park. Don't expect a room to be ready for you but there is no reason that you couldn't get your tickets that way.
