So DH (36) and myself (28) are going to WDW December 1-8th. We will arrive late on the first so parks are out that day. It is DH first trip and I am trying to decide how much time to devote to each park etc. Any suggestions. Also on sunday morning I booked the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Any help would be much appreciated. I have checked all the websites and tour books just looking for what others think

thanks!

You should definetely plan some time in the MK both before and afetr the tour. On the tour you will go on the Jungle Cruise but it won't be the regular ride so you might want to do that before the tour. You will also go on the Haunted Mashion (regular trip through) and possibly the pirates.

I would plan on spending a bit of time at EPCOT (that is my DH 's favorite park).

I also go with only my DH (we don't have children) if I was going those days I would probably do the following schedule if we had no park hoppers:
Saturday: MK (see the special Magic without the knowledge you get on the tour)
Sunday: MK (you have the tour)
Monday: EPCOT (both AK and MGM have EMHs that day)
Tuesday: MGM
Wednesday: AK (it does have evening EMH but you can do most everything before then if it gets crowded)
Thursday: Choose a park that you liked best
Friday: Choose a park that you like a lot and is near your hotel if you need to leave earlier

Since we have Park hoppers and are early risers this is the schedule we would probably use:
Saturday: AM- MK (to get that feeling); evening EPCOT (my DH's favorite park)
Sunday: AM- MK (tour), evening MGM (Fantasmisc is great and it will be less crowded with EMH on both Saturday and Monday)
Monday: AM- AK (we usually go to morning EMH and leave the park afetr lunch); evening- EPCOT (we avoid evening EMH and MK closes early)
Tuesday- AM- Epcot (mornign EMH); evening- toss-up mabe Pleasure Island
Wednesday-morning- MGM; evening-MK (only night other than Sunday for Spectro and Wishes
Thursday- AM- AK (we like it better in the morning), evening - EPCOT or MGM for our favorite night show
Friday- MK

We will be there the same week and here is what I'm looking at tentatively:

Fri - start at MGM, fantasmic dinner pkg, then over the EPCOT WS for EMH
Sat - Start with MGM, then over the MK later afternoon (they are taping the Christmas parade, so it will be busy)
Sun - AK in the AM, tour the hotels in the afternoon, then off to EPCOT WS
Mon - EPCOT FW in the AM, early afternoon, then afternoon rest, 4pm go to MK for MVMCP
Tues - MK all day, then dinner with a friend at DTD (plus shopping!)
Wed - MGM, then EPCOT
Thurs and Fri - are bonus days to catch up on anything that we've missed or want to see again.

Maybe we'll see you around the parks. I'll have my LGMH on my bag.
Enjoy!
