Question: How long before we leave ....

...... should we send a box we`re making, (with non-perishables), to to our Resort?
We`re leaving on August 9th, so do you guys think a week before would be enough?
Also, what Should I write on it, and can I send it back to our home ? If yes, who takes care of sending it back ? TIA
PS This will be the first time, so I`m not even sure what size box to get. I don`t want to have the BWV thinking we`re moving in Perminantly , although I would sure to!!!!!

i believe that i have heard of peopel doing this before but... i am not sure how to do it.

try asking on the resort board. there are much more people on there that may know about this.

My dh just gave me my box today (I stopped by his work to get it).

Have your name (arriving guest DISNEY) on it & your arrival date. I think they want your reservation # but I can't remember so I put it on anyways & of course your resort & it's address.

They also said to make sure it arrives no sooner then a few days (like 1-3 days) before you get there.

We ship UPS (my dh's will ship from work) & just remember who ever you ship through they go by business days which means & Sat & Sun are not business days. You can ship on those days but it does cost extra.

UPS gives you a tracking # so I can check my package the day before & see that it is enjoying itself in WDW while I am stuck in CT!

For the last 3 trips I have shipped a box of items for us. I called the resort to get the exact address for a package to be shipped to. I was told to be sure it comes UPS as the USPS goes to another address.

I just went to luggage service to retrieve it. This year I am going to ship 2 boxes.

Just be sure to write " Hold for guest (NAME) arriving on (DATE) on several sides of the box. Be sure to get a tracking number and just to be sure I bring a copy of the tracking sheet I printed on line.
