Question Grand Palms Vacation Resort

Hello

Was wondering if anyone had stayed at or has info on the Grand Palms Vacation Resort. Have a chance at a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo there.

I haven't heard of this resort.

the address is off US 192 near the US 27 intersection.

We stayed there last year. It doesn't have the amenities one would associate with a "resort." We got a nice apartment (3 bedrooms/2 baths), washer/dryer, full kitchen, screened porch.

There is at least one tennis court... there is a pool. New buildings were under construction.

It's really one of several similar "developments" on Lindfields Blvd. There was no clubhouse (that we found.) The key to the unit was in one of those key-keeper things so we pretty much checked ourselves in. The office was a mile or so away, but they were on call. They probably rent these units out for owners.

It's on the quiet end of Irlo Bronson Highway (192), pretty close to 27. Very convenient to the parks.

It was just a little apartment complex with two story buildings. The units are not townhouse types.

We got a really good price, but when we were there (last August), if you have children there was really nothing for them to do other than swim. Maybe we didn't look hard enough, but I don't think we missed anything.

It's a very quiet spot if that's what you looking for. They had a nice little "welcome" basket with coffee, soda, detergent, etc.

It didn't look too special in the pictures I saw. Nice but nothing great. Glad I'm going to Windsor Palms for 1st week, I'll have to look around for some more.
