question from a newbie

Hello everyone,
I just recently found this board as I was searching for info regarding our upcomeing wdw trip.

You guys all seem so orgainized! I also signed up for tour guide mike but IM SO CONFUSED! LOL

First question I have for all you professional disner's is our trip is is all paid for (meaning room,air fare,car rental etc) I was able to get myw tickets for 5 days for 5 people at a little under $400 but that didnt include dineing. We will be staying for a total of 10 days in a condo with a kitchen so I figured we would eat there a lot.
How much money do you think we will need for food,parking,souveniers etc??
(it would be for 3 boys ages 13,10,8 and 2 adults) Im just trying to figure out how much cash I need to set aside. Does any one know a ball park figure I should shoot for?


My second question is about the photo pass. I see you can get a cd for $99.
Is that per park? For example,Day one we go to walt disney and day 2 we go to mgm so I buy 2 cd's? What happens if we split disney in 2 days?



sorry if I sound stupid. This is our first ever trip to disney so we are all extremely clueless.

OK. just breathe for a while. Close your eyes and imagine all of the fun you're gonna have.
Now, the photo pass thing. your cd can be arranged however you want.
Ok, with the money issue. Bring about $800. More or less. You probably won't need that much, but you never know!
Dont worry. Its all gonna work out fine.

Best advice for a first timer...don't try to see everything, take your time and enjoy the vacation!

First of all, , the DIS is full of great info! I would have been lost my first time out w/o all of the tips and tricks I found.

As far as Photopass goes, you'll get one photopass card from the first Photopass photographer you see. You'll use that card the entire time you're in Disney and get one CD at the end. Your pictures will stay connected to the card for 30 days. I purchased mine on the last day and had over 100 pics of me w/ characters and in front of the park icons.

BTW, if you want to see what some of the Photopass pics look like check out the link in my sig, almost all of the pics with me in them are taken by the PP photographers.
