Hi all,

We are planning to visit Wicked this July on our very first trip to London. We were wondering if we should prebuy our seats or buy them last minute. any thoughts?
Thanks so much!!

Also, are there any amazing web sites you recommend for ordering tickets? Thanks.

There is a website for wicked.
A few years ago when Wicked first came to Boston..The tickets were hard to get.

Definetly get them before you travel it is a very popular show, if you go on www.lastminute.com they often have special offers on tickets and you just collect them from the theatre before the show.

The official ticket website is www.seetickets.com, who are part of ticketmaster.

I would recommend buying them in advance to avoid disappointment. Also you will get a better seat the further out that you buy them.

I quite often buy tickets a year in advance for the very popular shows, I am seeing Wicked next month for the second time. :cool1: I bought these tickets about 8 months ago. :thumbsup2 Enjoy the show!

Here's a few links for ticket websites that I use:

Thanks everyone! I am so looking forward to seeing London! It sounds like an incredible city!

I also wanted to make sure you're aware that Wicked has day seats. For 25 pounds, you can get a front row ticket. The kicker is that you have to show up the day of the show and they start selling them right when the box office opens so there's normally a bit of a line. It's something to think about though. I have gotten those several times and they're great seats. The front row is spaced back from the stage quite a bit so you shouldn't have any issues seeing everything.

I heard about this too. Not sure what to do. We want really good seats. 25 pounds is reasonable. Thanks!

Hello, we're going in July and have £30 tickets. Nearish to the front and the next seats along were £60 so I'm hoping ours will be OK. If I really really wanted to see a show I wouldn't risk getting a daily ticket.

Just a little extra info - we're going because Lee Mead has taken over the male lead. He won a talent contest here a couple of years ago and went on to play Joseph. I think this might make the show more popular than it already is (he's the reason DD begged me to take her! LOL!!)

Good point!

We booked our tickets well in advance (about 3 months) we paid £92 per ticket for the premium stalls. Probably wouldn't pay that much again. We heard about the £25 seats but we also heard that the queues can be quite big for them.

I recommend you book them in advance though. We found it to be basically a sell out when we were there. There also seemed to be a few American school trips there.

we paid for the £25 tickets in the circle ... they weren't the best seats in the house but they were more than adequate ... it was one of the most magical experiences of my life - by far, for me, the best musical I've seen - and I have seen quite a few!! I wouldn't risk not getting the tickets if I was you!!
