Decided to spend my ds's 4th birthday at VB this year and was able to book a 1bdrm villa - Yay!!:jumping1:

Anyway, do they still do the character breakfast at Shutters?? And if they do, do you need to make PS's way ahead of time? And...if you do need to make PS's way ahead, can you make them through the regular WDW-Dine phone#?? or do you need to call the resort directly?

Thanks for any info. - (have only been to Vero once and it was over 6yrs ago on my honeymoon:love2: )

Looking really forward to going back with my kids though and would like to make ds's b-day special:wave:

In August we did the character breakfast with Max andGoofy, the characters were great, but way, way overpriced! This past trip I don't know if they still had it, we didn't even check.

I believe you have to call the resort directly at 772-234-2000. Ask for priority seating. I think they only take PS's 30 days ahead instead of the 90 days like at WDW.

They still offer the character breakfast on Saturday. They sometimes add a Wednesday one in the busy seasons.

We attended the breakfast last October-just made a PS when we arrived at the resort. It was wonderful. The food was hot, we could eat as much as we want and the server was friendly and kept our beverages full.

Goofy and Max spent a lot of time at our table because there was hardly anyone in Shutters. I have some pictures and will try and post them soon.

Thanks so much for the info.;)

We'll be going for the weekend June 11-13.

Anyone think that would be really busy where I should call ahead? or just take my chances and book it when we arrive?

I think it would be a safe bet to reserve when you arrive. But hey, you have the phone # in case you want to get it at the 30 day mark. Important to note that the VB character breakfast is only on Saturdays (and allegedly Wednesdays in busy times). I didn't think it was that overpriced.
I just wish we'd have been able to have local citrus and juice (instead of Minute Maid) given that Indian River county grows arguably the best grapefruit in the country.

have fun
