Does anyone know how far in advance you can redeem USAirways Dividend Miles rewards? I have enough miles for two free round trip tickets. I am trying to redeem them for travel to WDW on April 5, 2004, but keep getting an “invalid date” error from their Web site. I have tried other dates as well. The dates are not backout dates. Same thing happens. I tried emailing them last week, but never received a response. Thanks.

331 days.

Call the 800 number and book that way.

Thanks, ducklite. I was hoping to book it online to get the additional miles, but I'll give them a call in the morning to see what goes.

Only 20,000 needed for Sept 15 - Feb 28. I always redeem my miles for our December trip since it takes less.

You might want to check the website and see what the blackout dates for award tickets are for 2004. If you are Gold or higher with USAirways there aren't any blackout dates.

The dates I am trying are not blacked out. If I try to redeem ANY date in 2004, the site comes back with an "Invalid Date" error. If I try anything in 2003, it works fine. I didn't get a chance to call today, but will tomorrow. I did verify that you SHOULD be able to redeem miles 331 days in advance. Maybe you just can't do it from their Web site. Arghhh!

The website is quirky. You can't always accomplish what you want on the website. A phone call should solve your problem.

While it is true that you won't get miles for award travel, there is a bonus for booking award travel on-line -- or at least there was, you never know when those expire.

One other thing. If you've been using Internet Explorer to try to book, try Netscape instead.

I'm pretty sure the US Air site runs on .asp, which IE doesn't always handle very well. Netscape for some reason can deal with it much better.
