I noticed while reading another post that you have stayed in the Contemporary Towers many, many times.

Our family of 5 is staying there in August. Can you give me any hints about which rooms offer the best view of the MK? That would really be helpful in making our room request.

We like all of them. I do not remember any specific room #'s. Sorry about that. Since the rooms on the Mk side do not actually start until the 6th floor, we have never had a bad view on the MK side, and that is the only side that we stay on. If you go to the viewing area on the top of the Cont. You can pay a quarter for the high powered binoculars and actually see people riding Splash Mountain. I have never personally been up there, I am scared of heights, but my Dh, and kids have. I won't even actaully go out on the balcony, but I look at the MK from our room. I'm sure there will be other opinions on the rooms, but we have never had a preference on room #'s, and have always been happy with the view. I hope that helps a little, and is not oo confusing.
