Question for Timeshare users....

Do they give you anything in the kitchen.....like detergent for the dishwasher, brillo, etc.

I will be bringing coffee filters, coffee, laundry detergent but am confused as to what is actually supplied. Garbage bags, paper towels?

It is a Marriott if that makes a difference.......

It varies by timeshare, but you usually get dishwashing soap, coffee filters, garbage bags, and paper towels. Plus of course bath soap. Marriott's usually also have shampoo. Dishwashing liquid sometimes yes, sometimes no. Laundry detergent - usually no, but sometimes you get a 1 load box of soap. Brillo no, but usually one of those sponge things that has the green scrubbing surface on one side.

It also depends if you are renting or exchanging.

If you are renting, you should have coffee filters for every day and coffee packets. If you are exchanging, you probably have a starter set. (I always bring coffee anyhow.)

I always have to buy laundry soap because my kids are allergic to Tide, what is usually provided.

Dish soap is always provided, no matter what.

Salt and pepper is not provided if exchaning. I can't remember if it is when renting.

Paper towels, sponges, etc. are always provided no matter what.

Soap, toilet paper, etc. is always provided.

If you are exchaning, bring your own shampoo and conditioner!! They only give you a little bit of shampoo.. and not conditioner if you are exchaning.

All pots, pans, etc. are provided.

If you want napkins, bring them, since they only provide paper towels.

I always bring a stash of microwave popcorn, salt, pepper, splenda, tea, coffee, laundry detergent with me.

You love the Marriott - I have only stayed at Grande Vista - but Cypress Harbour is very beautiful....

I am trying to stay at most of the timeshare in Orlando - still there is around a 100 - I will be during this for many, many years - I have stayed at so far all the DVC resorts (Iam a DVC member), Marriott Grande Vista (twice - so you know I loved it), Hilton's grand vacation club (just did a studio - going back for a 2-bedroom), Westgate Villa, Westgate Lakes and some not in Orlando/Kissimmee area - I during Hilton's (again) this October and next year I will be in Sheraton's Vistana Resort. Oh forgot shortly I will be AmeriSuites Vacation Club at Calypso Cay - at the end of this month - this is a new one - so I am looking forward to it.

timesharing can be alot of fun!!!
